Lightning, a former sergeant of the Cocoon Sanctuary Guard from Final Fantasy XIII, joins the PLAY ARTS Shin series! The new hip and joint parts have been improved from the previous PLAY ARTS Kai series, allowing for smoother and wider range of motion. In addition, a new gimmick has been added, allowing for eye movement, allowing for a wider range of situations to be depicted. The figure is sculpted with attention to detail, from her distinctive pink hair, to her dignified and powerful facial features, the wrinkles in her clothes and boots, to the texture of her belt and shoulder armor. The cloth cape has wire in it, allowing for movement. The included Blaze Edge, Lightning's iconic weapon, comes in two versions, one in gun form and one in sword form. As with the regular face, it also comes with a face with movable eyes and various interchangeable hands, including gun and sword handles, allowing for various scenes from the movie to be recreated.
