Hololive Production's popular VTuber "Usada Pekora" has become a beautiful Japanese doll figure. “Usada Pekora”, which was created in collaboration with Yoshitoku, a long-established Japanese doll shop, is a light and supple work in which one sleeve is taken off and flutters like a feather. Dressed in a bright blue and pink kimono, the beautiful traditional patterns are decorated with gold everywhere to enhance the luxury. A special tag is also included.

Yoshitoku and Design Coco produced a life-size Japanese doll of "Usada Pekora" with the full cooperation of Hololive Productions for the "#全人類兎化計画" released in the New Year of 2023. Under this project, professionals involved in craftsmanship and traditional Japanese costumes gathered to form a dream team.

The director is A2C, the creator of Japanese doll figures. Yoshitoku is a long-established doll shop. The body is produced by Design Coco, a leading company for life-size figures. The kimono is made by Shochiku Iso, which handles kimonos and costumes for traditional Japanese performing arts such as Kabuki. Measurements and sewing were carried out according to the proportions of "Usada Pekora", and a beautiful kimono was made. Ichirindo, a long-established Tsumamizaiku craftsman, is in charge of the hair ornaments, adding color to the adorable Pekora Usada.

Figures and Japanese dolls are all about the face. The bursting smile is a cuteness that you want to keep looking at forever. Japanese accessories such as fans, clogs, and hair ornaments designed with the motif of "Pekomon" are original designs that have been carefully produced. "Don-chan" with fluffy fur is adorable on his shoulder.

A 1/4 scale figure based on a life-size figure so that it can be delivered to fans. Instead of simply scaling down the life-size data of Pekora Usada, the 3D model and costumes were reviewed, and the proportions and modeling of the whole body, and the dressing were thoroughly brushed up to match the scale of the figure. I was.

A long-established doll shop known for its catchphrase, "Your face is the good fortune of life." Founded in 1711, this is the oldest doll shop in Edo. It plans and sells Japanese dolls, May decorations for Children's Day, Hina dolls, and more. In this project, I was in charge of selecting fabrics and dressing life-size and 1/4 scale figures.

Design Coco

Headquartered in Sendai, it is a leading company of life-size figures. Nearly 100 sculptors are enrolled, and they are involved in the production and production of life-size and scale figures of various characters. In this project, I was in charge of the overall direction and art direction, as well as the production of the life-size and 1/4 scale figures.

Shochiku costume

It is a long-established company that produces costumes for Kabuki, Japanese dance, television, and movies. They may even be making costumes for the programs and actors you usually watch!? In this project, I was in charge of tailoring the kimono and obi for the life-size figure.

Tsumamizaiku Ichirindo

A store specializing in Tsumami-zaiku, which is designated as a traditional craft of Tokyo. In this project, I made a life-size figure hair ornament.
